2-minute shows

Everyone's got something to say, but can you say it in two minutes? We'd like to give you the chance to take the stage and share your vision in 120 seconds. That's right, you've got just 2 minutes be it in photos (limit of six) or multimedia.

You may take less time but no more. The options you have are a self running show like Soundslides, which runs off files inside the folder (no Internet linked shows). If you choose a show and have it timed for 2 minutes then you have no time to introduce the show or make other comments. We would recommend voice over the music what you want to say and keep it under 2 minutes.

2-minute show Guidelines

1. We will accept only 45 shows total. These will be on a first come-first serve basis. No shows will be accepted after 10 a.m. Saturday morning. The 2-minute shows will begin Friday evening.

2. You may choose to show up to six digital images.

3. You have a maximum of two minutes to describe your images
.

4. You may choose a multimedia self running presentation. It must be in a self contained file on a CD which can be copied onto another computer. Be sure this works on a Mac or PC. One of the best programs for this is SoundSlides. Keep the show under 120 seconds.

5. Image size for self running shows should be no bigger than 1024x768, since this is the limit for many projectors.

Digital Image Guidelines
for the 6 photo choice.

1. All digital images must be on a multi-platform CD.

2. All images should be sized at 72 dpi and the largest dimension no more than 10 inches.

3. Save files as JPEGs with medium (7) compression

4. Name files using the following example:
Lastname_firstinitial_01.JPG
If your name is Bob Carey it would look like this:
Carey_b_01.JPG

5. Put the files in a folder labeled Lastname_firstname

So if your name is Bob Carey the folder will be named:
Carey_Bob

6. Remember, no more than 6 images in the folder.
